Help a duckling in my pool

Keep him warm with a heat lamp and he should adjust just fine to the food and water.
When they have to eat they'll eat! They're like little piggies

The best thing to do is to kept it warm. Yes, just treat it like you would a domestic duck. If it does not eat what you try to feed, it dip its beak in the food. That's all the advice I got right now... Good Luck :D

Well, today I was to get my new Welsh Harlequin ducklings from efowl. I went to the post office to pick them up and only one was still alive! I had ordered three hens and one drake. The live one is a hen. The only good thing was that as soon as the little Mallard duckling that we had rescued from our pool was really happy to hear another duckling. They are already fast friends.

As fas as efowl, they are sending a refund and I have found an organic farmer who has WH's and will sell me a few ducklings that are about 10 days old.

Well, the Mallard baby is doing great! Feathers are beginning to show. The WH i got from efowl is the same size and they are buddies. I have four other WH I found at a local farm. They are two weeks older and much bigger. I will post some pics soon. Anyone know what to expect from the Mallard as it grows up and can fly?
