So I just picked up 9 of our babies (still waiting for our 2 buff orp's, 1 light brahma and 1 silver laced wy)...

Here's what is supposed to be in this box:

3 Americauna
3 marans
1 dark brahma
1 blue Cochin
1 barred rock

I think that the blue cochin is the little yellow and light blue one (obvious it seems) - second to the upper left corner
I think the barred rock is the littlest of the black colored chicks - middle/top-ish right, hiding under two other bottoms
I can tell two of the marans as the obvious orangey brown ones but not sure who the third is - one by the BR, one by the cochin
Supposedly there was a mix of colors for the Americaunas so not sure who they are
Dark brahma no clue

Any help?

Blue Cochin and Dark Brahma should be the only feather-footed ones. You already know the Cochin, so go look for the other one with fuzzy feet.

The other Marans may be a Cuckoo Marans--how about that one in the bottom right starting to show some barring?

What color are your marans supposed to be and are they feather footed? There are three barred or cuckoo chicks there, the three dark ones with white spots on the head. If your marans are feather footed it could confuse things some.

Brahams have pea combs, the others have straight. Except the easter egger/ameraucanas. But they should have clean legs.

Ok I think I have it figured out with your help.

the three black remaining chicks (not the barred rock, tiny black one) are the marans... I thought I had cuckoo marans but now I think they must be black copper.

of the four brownish colored chicks - three have "beards" so assuming those are the ameraucanas (or easter eggers, two different people from the store told me two different things, so assuming EE).

the fourth brown one has furry legs so that must be my dark brahma.

The barring on the one in the bottom right is very visible...not so much on the others but it is coming through. These three (the marans I think) are definitely bigger than all the others.

So exciting!
