Help a poorly cockeral

We have a poorly cockeral, our pet dog got into the coop 2 weeks ago and killed 7 chickens. We have another 7 still and they are eating ok. Our cockeral is now in our chicken hospital because he is not eating. He is drinking and being seringed fed yogurt, cat food liquified for 4 days now at 50 mils 6 times aday however he is still not eating. Please help as we are at our wits end.

Was your cockerel injured by your dog? Maybe he has some internal damage. Have you tried bribing him with special things like mashed hard boiled egg yolk, or maybe some warm cooked oatmeal? I hope the ER folks can help him.

Thank you for all your support, his tail feathers and a little nibble at the back,however he was fine and dandy after a few days then just started going downhill. He is still going at the moment.
