It started when we found our 5 week old siccilianbuttercup, cecily, dead in their feed trough home. Then, just yesterday, our beloved truffle, a blue laced red wyandotte, got sick and died.:hitit may be our fault because their bin had gotten very very very dirty. Truffle had poo stuck to the feathers around her vent that looked like light mustard. We cleaned out their bin and water and food very well. Of course, in the process, our blue australorp, sage, seems to have broken a leg, and our speckled sussex cockeral, Archibald aka Archie, doesn't look so hot either. Then, this morning our starlight green egger cockeral, ferny, died. Funny thing is, ferny had always been our craziest most active chick. Now our other siccilan buttercup, is pooping fleshy blood stuff. Does ANYONE know what is happening? Our maybe barnvelder cockeral prince is sitting funny. Help! Update, siccilian buttercup is eating. but none of them look good. It seems to be all our cockerals are dying.

My guess is coccidiosis but only because of the red poop. You can quickly dose them with Corid and pull any vitamin additives. But it might be too late. Seems like once they hit a certain point with coccidiosis, even with Corid, they die within a day or two. :/

Maybe it's something else though. I'm sorry. That's so awful.

Sorry for your loss. It sounds like they may be dying of coccidiosis. Get some Corid right away and dosage is 2 tsp of the liquid, or 1.5 ml of the powder in each gallon of water (as the only water source) for 5-7 days. Change it daily. Then reduce the dosage to 1/2 tsp for an additional 5 days. I would clean your feeders and waterers, and prevent any poop from getting into them by raising them to shoulder height. Mold is toxic as well.

Thank you so much! We were pretty much thinking it was coccidiosis too.
