help about toe nails

one of my rooster are having some problems

almost all of his out side nails are falling off and the the inner small soft nails are keep bleeding like crazy.

any help??

Most likely he is getting them caught in something. Possibly on a roost with a crack in it, or something else in his living place. They do bleed a bit for awhile, but it will always stop. That's one thing that I have learned as an EMT: Bleeding will always stop. The trick is to make it stop before the heart stops. Good luck!

Do you have a picture or more information? Is it cold where you are? If they are popping off, that sounds a bit odd, but if he is otherwise healthy, he may be getting them caught somewhere or have broken them some how?
