HELP!!! Advice Needed, Please!! Duckling piped from smaller end of egg abd hasn't zipped the egg!!

I'm off to bed, guys. Good luck with the hatch and keep me posted. I'll check in tomorrow morning. You can do this, just listen to Sally's advice. She's done this before.

I've read that earlier today and was going to leave her alone, but was told she needed assistance since she pipped on the small end and the pip had a greenish yellowish brown scab over the hole. I've even called a hattery in california for advice.. Well I am going to leave her alone and pray for the best. Hopefully, I didn't do much damage and she will be able to get out of the rest of the shell when the time is right.. I am so heart broken and upset, I have read and reread all sorts of materials. I'm going to buy a book before attempting this again, however this turns out. I do realize that experience goes along way and in this area. I have NONE!! Thats how I found your sight, I thought I heard her peeping the other day prior to going outside, but when I went to the incubator to listen I heard nothing, then proceeded outside for nearly the entire day. I also thought I heard something the day prior to that, another egg in with her had a similar scab and died in the shell, now I know if I talk to the incubator they will peep back, and I just found out yesterday that I should still mist the eggs daily even with the incubator having tray for water and air for a humidifier effect...
She's still peeping and intact..

Your doing good, we were all in a panic, with so much so fast because it needs to be done slowely......

check her every two ours, dampen and watch her activity along with those veins..... next time you take her out, to dampen her papertowel and membraneTRY to candle and see if you can actually find an air cell at the FAT end of the shell or LITTLE END and draw a pencil mark for your reference, it may or may not come in handy.... You got this ok?

we all want that baby to live and be cute...... you must take this very easy too, if you pull on shell thats NOT in the air cell it will also have that inner lining attached to it, and will bleed if not ready so time time time........ she looks perky, this is good, perky struggling is good!

Please pop in to give us an update every 2 hrs..... on her activity and when u wet membrane what you got and pics are always a MAJOR PLUS!

I agree with Sally. Take a breath slow down Sally knows what she's talking about she's helped me through 3 hatchings. I know it's hard to just stand by but you've got to give them a chance to do it. Keep asking questions and don't give up we are all here for you! You're doing a great job just let the little one do his/hers. :)
