I was gone for a few hours yesterday and DH noticed twice that the emu feed bowl was empty so he re-filled it. Unfortunately, he filled it with medicated chick starter by mistake. I noticed that all 3 emus ( little over 2 weeks old) had watery poop last evening and that is when I found out what happened. They still have it this morning but otherwise are noisy, happy, running, eating, drinking and playing. I have replaced the feed with the emu starter feed and make sure they have clean water at all times. Is there anything I can do about it now or will it run it's course without seriously making them sick or worse? Any help would be appreciated.

Their poo is usually very loose to somewhat runny I worry more when its dry I have had one of my adults get blocked up from to much food.

medicated chick starter will not hurt them at all. In fact most breeders around here start with that, as it greatly reduces Splay Leg in Emu chicks.
