Help! Aggressive hen!

Hello fellow chicken parents,

I need some advice on an aggressive hen. She's not mean towards the rest of the flock, just me! I feel like she has a vendetta against me or something. She is a 12 week old RIR and the aggression started a week ago and she's getting more frequent with it. I have eight other hens that are friendly and nice and like to be around humans. Then I have this ninth one that goes out of her way just to bite me!

Any advice would be helpful!

Near the top, but I wouldn't call her the top hen in the house. There are definitely a few ahead of her.

Can you take a picture of the saddle feathers? In the other pictures the saddle feathers look male but its hard to tell with the angle.

If male, there’s your problem. If female, might just be a jerk. Can you separate her for a few days- put in poultry jail? Sometimes that helps. If not, you may have to cull or rehome.

Those are some huge wattles for a 12 week old pullet. Comb is fairly small and pale though. You may just have a bossy pullet.
