Hello
I need help I am on day 18 and half my hatch air cells are not small but aren’t where they should be on day 18.Should I keep humidity low till I see egg movement or pips?some eggs I see movement and some I can’t tell..I don’t want to through out the ones with smaller cells because I Am afraid they might still be alive.thoughtz please

Have the small looking ones drawn down yet on one side? If they haven't taken on that slanted look yet then they will look small. There's no harm in keeping the humidity on the low side for another day or so but I'd candle the eggs, being careful to keep them in the position they are in in the incubator, so that you can see when they have pipped internally and know you need to bump up the humidity.

No they haven’t.they seem to still be centered in the egg still.

Can you post some candling pictures? It might be okay to lower humidity some, especially when they haven't pipped yet. How high was your humidity through out incubation? It should have been somewhere between 30-35%.

Don't throw out the ones with smaller cells. The risk is that they may drown while pipping, but just because the air cells are smaller does not mean the chick is dead or can't hatch.

None of the eggs have no blood rings and veins look really good.

It was between 30-45 percent and would jump up to like 50 when I accidentally added to much water

Once the small looking ones catch up and draw down I think they'll be just fine. Maybe those eggs were in the slightly coolers spots in the incubator (all incubators have warmer and colder spots) so they are just a bit behind the others.

I hope so!I lowered the humidity for another day.

Do let us know how you're getting on - it's always nerve wracking, waiting and hoping your babies are going to hatch.
I def will.its very nerve wracking!with everything going on in the world I could use a little happiness and hope.
