Help! All my ducklings are dying

what the ducklings currently look like. They’ve had the rooster booster in their water and I tried some sugar water like someone suggested.

Thank you. Got them wednesday and they took two days to ship so I would say they are almost a week old.

I had a few do like yours did and I sent them off for necropsy. Cause of death was a yolk sac infection. If you still have their bodies, can you wet down their bellies and take pictures? If there is a scab, bloating, or discoloration, that is probably the cause..

Well when we woke up another one was deceased. The last girl doesn’t look too far behind. I don’t get how they all went from lively and chirpy to slowing down and dead. First it seems they lose strength in their legs becuase they stop walking so quickly and they start to fall over and don’t move much. Then they lose the energy to keep their head up until they eventually die.

So sorry for you and your duckies. Did you contact the hatchery again and tell them? I wonder why they won't replace them. It would seem like a hatchery would be continually incubating eggs.

Ok here’s an update. All of the ducklings have died and now one of my Juvenile ducklings that was outside not even near the little ones has symptoms. She won’t walk and is slowing down. What is going on?! This must be some horrible disease. Does anyone have any ideas?

what hatchery did you order them from, just wondering because I was going to get some but may not anymore. Sorry for your ducklings

I think I'd take one of the dead ones to have a necropsy at a reputable place. I'd also separate that older one from the rest of the flock asap until you find out what's going on! @casportpony
