Help! All my ducklings are dying

I just read up a bit on it and they say ducks 4 weeks old and up have at least a chance of surviving it but I'd sure get the older ones separated if it's starting on one of them. Quarantine for sure until you get this under control!

And be sure to give cackle an email and video of what’s going on. Change shoes and wash your hands before handling the others but they have already been exposed.
I’m hoping because the others are older they will be able to make it. As someone already mentioned ducklings over 4 weeks old have a lower risk.

Only the 8 ducklings died. The 3 juvenile ducklings seem to be completely fine. Unfortunately when we first got the little ducklings we brought one of the juveniles in just to see them a the male duckling jumped up and nibbles its the bigger ducklings foot. So from that he must’ve passed the disease on to her. I still think it’s crazy. That’s the on time they ever interacted and it was only a few seconds. But I’m guessing the one who got touched was the one who died. But it could’ve been another one, not sure how the other 3 didn’t get infected but I am thankful. The last welsh harlequin that died and the juvenile khaki Campbell that died were taken by the county to be examined to see why they died. They said results would be in Thursday or Friday but nothing yet.

The owner of Cackle hatchery is trying to claim they died of drinking too much water but that is not it as all. How could they have passed it on to the bigger duck? So far they have only refunded us for 3 of the ducklings. They won’t replace any either

I lost 2 of my 4 Runner ducklings from shipping stress this is what cackle called it and because it was 4 days after they arrived the didn’t do anything except cause heart ache. I won’t ever order from a hatchery again just too much loss. Very sorry they won’t replace. You did nothing wrong.
