Help!! Anyone Awake?? Need Advice

Ya know I didnt put that last batch out at 4 weeks,( java/heritage mix) in fact I think it was 8 weeks, but you see how much bigger these guys are at 4 weeks then that little laying hen the same age is, so I fugured Id hope for the best..They seemed a bit chilly this morning but tonight supposed to be warmer..Also have to take in consideration that I live in southern oregon, almost high desert, so cold here, or 40 I should say is cold, but very dry..No humidity at all, which I think makes cold, colder! Does that make sense..
For me easier to just call them freedoms, or FR for the sake of typing here!

I agree. The no humidity does make it feel MUCH colder. I don't have FR's but Cornish crosses and they seem to do much better in the cooler temps. I put mine out at 3 wks and try to have them gone before summer gets to hot. In the fall I have to start them earlier than I would like because of our fair dates.

I meant that the humidity makes it seem colder...dont you think..When we lived in Chico, it was humid and rainy and cold, wet, cold feeling...this cold seems easier to me..Maybe I was just bred for it! Fair here to this week...
