HELP: Are these Ameraucanas?

The blue can comein many shades, I prefer the two extremes, the dark, almost black, blue, an the pale, almost looks splash but its the same color all over so it not, blue. I have 5 Blue cochin chicks in the brooder and they are all a different shade.

I think it happens more when the parent stock is all blue(which the cochin where), because all of the chicks I've hatchedd from my Black JG rooster and Splash JG hen are all the same shade of blue.

This is very good to know! I suspected as much... I can't wait to see what they look like all grown up. I've got some 5 week olds from the same breeder who are a lovely sort of splash. They look like this:

Got to get some better shots. It will probably happen once this cold lets up, brrrr

I think they could be Ameracaunas, if they have the slate legs. There are pretty few other common breeds with blue feet. if they have muffs or beards, that is a distinguished charactaristic of the Ameracauna. Good luck, and hope this helps you.

They are definitely Easter Eggers

Someone had their breeding wrong as there are a bunch of yellow legs and strange combs (altered peas) in the mix. Maybe they're breeding Easter Eggers with PB Ameraucanas. You can see below that some have slate legs, but there are some green legs in the mix as well.
