Help! Are these Americaunas, or Easter Eggers?

Where did you purchase them? I have few that we got from both Rural King and TSC that were labeled Americaunas as well. Pretty sure they are just EE. From what I understand real Americaunas are pretty rare and are going to cost much more than the EE they label as such. They are lovely, none the less, and you get some good looking eggs from them!

Those are Easter Eggers. True Ameraucanas, like @jesseycakes said, are much harder to come by. Feed stores and most hatcheries mislabel Easter Eggers as Ameraucanas which is kind of my chicken pet peeve, lol. The general Rule of Thumb I have found is that if it's from a feed store, it's an easter egger. If there is a specific color variety specified such as "Black Ameraucana" or "Wheaten Ameraucana," then it is a true Ameraucana. If not, then it is likely EE. And unless you are being scammed, the price is always much higher for a true Ameraucana.
If you are confused on differences I can gladly explain, the whole EE/Ameraucana thing is my specialty :) Hopefully I won't confuse you even more lol. It's kind of tricky!
And if you are looking for true Ameraucanas, these are the only Major hatcheries that supply them I believe (there are plenty of breeders who have them too):

Your chickens are still very beautiful, I might add. That's the fun of Easter Eggers - they can look like anything!

They are chickens...mongrel or what is known as Easter Eggers. Americauna and Americana aren't breeds either...just misspellings of Ameraucana.
What are Easter Egg chickens?

The Ameraucana Alliance defines an Easter Egg chicken or Easter Egger as any chicken that possesses the blue egg gene, but doesn’t fully meet any breed descriptions as defined in the APA and/or ABA standards. Further, even if a bird meets an Ameraucana standard breed description, but doesn’t meet a variety description or breed true at least 50% of the time it is considered an Easter Egg chicken. By definition an Easter Egger is not a breed of chicken.

(Some have claimed that any variety that isn’t recognized, by the APA/ABA, is an Easter Egger, but that is not true according to the definition above. For example, lavender Ameraucanas breed true and are not Easter Eggers.)
