Okay...yes there is ONE that does pair with this one. I will separate.
THANK YOU, I am going to try my hardest, to save the little one.

if it survives through this coming night and is alive in the morning - it will more than likely bounce back and recover

maybe try mashing up a boiled egg to see if it will eat .... eggs contain everything a tiny baby chick needs to nurture itself ..... imho it is probably excellent for nursing a chick back to health

got to keep its temperature constant .... good luck

just got to calm down and remember --- 1 thing at a time ... i know it is distressing, what happens will happen - but being calm and clear headed will do you and your baby chick well

keep us updated as to how he is doing

Just make sure you only give enough to fill his crop, do not over feed. After he eats, give little drops of water, once he seems done drinking put him in a warm place and let him sleep for a little while. Eating and drinking is crucial, if they do not do that, well we all know this answer.

Hope for the best, but expect the other.

Good luck

I hope he is doing better! Somtimes the pecking order can be a bit rough... you might want to try a bit of vicks vapor rub on him. I have not tried this method yet but the owner of the feed store my mother goes too (she had a similar problem) told her to do this. They apparently dont like the smell. My little dude was looking a bit rough but you just have to have a bit of hope with them. Have you tried putting one more feeder in there? I have a Cornish Rock (which is a meat bird and was labled wrong at TSC ) and he is getting HUGE. At first he was trampled, and he was weak and had a huge cut on his back but he kicked back and is now Mr. Gigantor... anywho I have seperated him so that I can control his food intake. I hope this has helped. If you call around, even to an avian vet (local vets sometimes have them) they can be helpful. I hope that this has been some help... BYC has some great post if you look in their search engine.

THANK YOU to all your POSTS! MY UPDATE....

the little fuzzy guy is eating and drinking on his own, he is still separated with one buddy. They are keeping each other company, and his voice is coming back......SOOOO, I hope he continues to get better through the night! I will let you know!
