HELP ASAP quail egg cracked!!!

Quail egg was dropped from about 2 inch off ground and has two cracks that havent penatrated the membrane to my knowledge.

I dont have any elmers glue. The eggs are already on their 16th day. What should i do?

I've heard nail polish can be used to seal eggs. Good luck - I hope everything goes well!

Thanks, but i dont have any that arent colored

I don't think the colour matters - I'll do some research

I can't find anything that warns against coloured nail polish - it might be worth giving a go. Fingers crossed the egg makes it

I actually have those that could work. I just drip melted waz on the parts?

That’s what I did.
One egg in 2 different batches had small pin hole in shell but membrane was fine
I put wax on and last time baby was first to hatch
This time I have them on lockdown but everyone has internal pips

Just put it on lightly! Ill update if it was successful in 2-3 days! (Their hatching date)

If it’s blocking where they would pip or zip you can scratch it off after the internal pip happens
If not in the way then just leave it
