No, where the eggs/ land area is it’s basically REALLY wet mud. I actually lost 2 shoes in there thinking it was drier mud. I sank in to about my knees... it was crazy. So the point is is that I think that overtime they just got covered in mud.

I hope I can catch the Pekin, too!! I even more hope that she’s still there. I’m going to attempt to catch her then come back for the duck that’s always by her(Pekin/ Mallard cross) because he’s her size and assuming he/ she can’t fly either.

So I was getting the net ready to catch the Pekin and the a lady comes out on her deck and starts staring me down. So I left because I didn’t want her to call the cops on me. Even though I was helping the duck. Going back later today. Hopefully she won’t be on her deck again. Here are pics of the Pekin and her mate/ friend, there are some mallards in the pic too.
