Your house will not get infested, these are chicken lice so they cannot live on humans and in the house.

They can wait, keep an eye on them though.
Do they have a dust bath area? Try rubbing dirt into their feathers and skin.

Cats should not get the lice.

Ok, I will try this natural garlic spray recipe that helps to deter for now. I will continue the hunt for permethrin. Thank you again for your help!

Hello! My flock doing good. It’s just the 2 chocolate silkies that are left. They were infested with the lice, but I made a garlic spray with lavander, which seems to have deterred the lice. Or killed them. I haven’t seen a single lice since. They seem to be confused though, because the ayam was their leader, so they don’t have a “leader”. I was considering getting them a new friend/s, but I am unsure. They eat and drink food fine. They basically seem normal. Thank you for checking in, I will post if anything bad happens. (I hope nothing bad happens)
