HELP baby bunnies with dyeing mom

I don't know that it would arrive in time, but you could order fox valley rabbit formula. It's formulated perfectly for them. The guy who runs fox valley is really sweet and he'll overnight it for you. You'd have to hand feed them all, but at this point that's likely what you'll end up doing anyway.
i will try and get some, good to have on hand anyways.
edit: never mind, apparently shipping to rural Canada is over 90$ for a 11$ thing. (and no this isnt even overnight shipping)

i have KMR and have tried this method before, dindnt turn out well for me. also the nearest town is 30 min dive each way and it is so cold it is frostbite is seconds. the roads are very dangerous right now.

I've had mixed results as well, but you're already losing them because mom won't nurse. It may be time for a hail mary. Rearing infant rabbits without a good mom is EXTREMELY challenging. :(

Oh wow, sorry. I had no idea you were in Canada! He ships around the US really cheap so I just assumed. I hope you can get another formula there easier. :hugs

In my experience with baby rabbits, you wanna keep trying to get the moms to nurse the kits as much as possible, and use the KMR as a backup, or a supplement to make sure they're EXTRA full. Because one reason they might not be getting enough to eat is because they're already too burnt out and tired from having tried and failed to get their last meal to suckle properly.

Have you considered culling the young litter?

Not saying it is the right decision, just suggesting you think about it if you haven't considered it.

yeah that was a consideration but i would only do it as an absolute last resort. right now i do have a chance at them surviving so i will try what i can, but if it comes to that yeah.

There was a recipe on Rabbit Talk several years back. I haven't been on there in a while, but you could check. It was canned goats milk, kero syrup, and egg yolk I believe, but I can't recall the proportion.

big update:
1. my cat killed one last night, another died in the nest causing the others to flee and another 2 to die from cold (yes i warmed them up, still dead) so now there is only one left.
2. the mom seems to be recovering! been way to cold to butcher her so i have been waiting and she is no longer bleeding (it wasnt much in the first place and it has been over 24 hours without blood) also i have started to get her to eat! she will only take veggies right now but she is eating. she was a little overweight in the first place so the weight loss has be negligible. she is acting normal and getting better, she is also producing enough milk to feed the one baby.
