Does anyone have any suggestions please... she is 2 days old and was in egg over a day before coming out. She just lays on her belly with both legs stretched down (both legs at 6 o'clock) I am surprised she is alive only time she drinks is if I help her. wont eat, she just lays there. Each time I think of culling her I cant, but I know her suffering is worse. I would never make it as a vet.
I tried the tape for her legs but that made no sense as she still just layed there with the legs stretched downward. She chirps and looks alert when I hold her. Are her legs/hips broke if they are this way? I have had chicks with their hock joint messed up, spradled leg, but never this. Cant seem to find any articles with the legs displayed this way.
