Help before I cry

You need to run your virus programs and delete your cookies, etc. I do this routinely (probably daily) since I do lots of surfing online. Be sure your virus programs are up to date. It can be a symptom of virus'. It can also just be a glitch. Better safe than sorry!

I delete things all the time, but I was really afraid the update might have changed something that I wasn't going to be able to figure out.

This is a fairly new laptop. I bought it in August or Septemeber. Was really thinking I was not going to be able to do anything on it after panicing over the password thing.

My oldest daughter lives in Riverbank, so don't get there as much as I used to, but I do go by once in a while.

I have 2 people who have been waiting on the Davis flock to start back laying. My Prestley/Valentine flock has given me two pullet eggs and then nothing, but all the hens are walking closer to and checking out the nest boxes again, so I'm hoping eggs are coming soon. I'm going to set the first 3-4 dozen and check for fertility and make sure I have a fresh flock started and then I'll have some available.

I also have AMs, Favs, several Games, bantam Welsummers and Penes. If I ever find decent hens I also have WCBP and BLP, but only roos. I have MFDU roos also, but no more hens and some project bantams. Oh and bought silkies to get some broodies. Yeah right! LOL

There is a great tech group in modesto. I'll have to look up their names again, but I take my puter there whenever I have a prob. They can also do an upload that allows them to fix yours at home from their office. That is how I now get tech support. They are awesome!. IT Solutions is the name. 578-9739. I know its hard to find someone you can trust, but they really are good. They do my hubby's business comps too.

What do you use as your incubator? I have a Dickey, which I love for its ease of use. Its just so big its hard to justify running it for just a few, so I tend to do too many eggs. Then I end up with a whole lot of chickens! I currently have a mix of hens. Partridge rock, EE's, welsummer, cuckoo maran, creme brabranter, and light brahma. Just one of each. I'm adding some silkies, top hatters, blue copper marans, maybe some wheaten marans, black copper marans, australorps...and I can't remember what else. Will see what I get when they hatch!

Right now using my 2 LGs...keep telling myeself to get this Sportsman going again and I have 3 homemade ones that my husband and I had built together.

Just found out my income drops next month so I better get some eggs out of these girls so I can start selling some birds. Feed prices are too high as it is and no eggs in months. I just don't want to have to get rid of any of my birds till it's my idea.

I understand about the getting rid of them for your own reasons... We free range ours and the hawks have found us. We are down to the 8 I have from 19 last year. :-( But no other way to free range them here. They do double duty as fly control and are great at it!
