Help: Believe it's Clostridium Perfringens

As far as the pea size for Panacur for worms, I saw that dosage amount on another chicken site on FB and so that's what I gave all my chickens as a precaution. I don't know if they have worms or not.
Sadly, those websites, posts, and FB pages are spreading misinformation when they post about the pea-sized amount. :(

I single too small a dose could cause resistance, so it's always best to know what worms they are. Once you know what they are you and your vet can come up with a treatment plan.

One pea-sized amount = 0.25 ml of Safeguard liquid for goats. It's not enough to treat anything other than large roundworms, and even then it might not be enough

How much Valbazen do you use and how do you use it? In water? Syringe? I want to get started on treating these birds. I'm sick of waiting on vets that don't have a clue!
Most vets have a basic understanding of parasites and bacteria, so please do listen to your vet. Did your vet suggest a wormer and an amount? And what exactly does your invoice say? Does it have something like "fecal float" or "gram stain"? If they did a gram stain and prescribed Baytril, it means they probably saw gram-negative bacteria, for which the drug most likely to work is Baytril.

Valbazen dosage is 0.08cc/mL per pound, day 1 and again day 10... but also depends on worm type as well... for gapeworms (which is something I combat here) I have found 3 consecutive days is best... I always syringe and dose each bird by hand, I never mix dewormer in water, best to be sure each one gets properly dosed...

But as Kathy said, find out from the vet exactly what was checked and found...

The vet gave me 3 doses for Vera (and she's the one whose poop he tested) of 10 mg Fenbendazole 100 mg/g ml (it was at the O.1 on this little syringe he gave me) and I gave that for 3 days. I figured that was one good pea sized amount so that's what I gave the others but I just gave it to them once and I was going to do it again on day 10.

Forgot to mention, I think you should continue with the Baytril.
That's what I forgot to ask....would Baytril work for Clo

That's what I was going to ask but forgot....will the Baytril work for Clostridium Perfringens? Vera's crop is not clearing and I'm worried she'll get sour crop from this.
