help black spots on rooster comb

I am a 1st time chicken person bought 8 dominique hens and 1 rooster last weekend I have noticed several have black spots on thier combs
everything else seems ok:/

could just be peck marks..
try and wash them off..if they don't wash off..could be Pox..
either way..neosporin can help..

also..check the birds for mites
new birds should always be treated..Sevin or poultry dust ..such as Ectiban-D by Durvet is one...something with permathrin..

describe the droppings..color and consistency.
check them good for wet eyes, sneezing, wheezing..

good idea to make sure there isn't any stagnant water around for mosquitoes to lay eggs.

keep an eye for other symptoms...there are 2 forms of Pox..wet and dry.
wet is more serious.
sometimes it can spread to the mouth and throat, etc..making it hard to swallow.
also the eyes can be effected.

what all are you feeding them?
what bedding are you using?
