This morning I walked into the coop and saw one of our hens standing with her tail down. I looked under the roosting bars and saw that there was bloody poop and drops of blood and every other chicken is acting normal so I’m assuming that it is from her. I checked her and she doesn’t looo egg bound, and I can’t see any other injuries or anything. I googled it and the first thing that came up is coccidiosis. Does this sound like it is that l? What else should I do? I have her separated and am running to tractor supply right now

How old is she? Coccidiosis is usually more common in young chicks. But treating her with Corid will not hurt her. A vet could look for coccidiosis in a sample of droppings. Does she have any peck marks on her that may have bled, or a bleeding feather?

She’s a year old. Has no peck marks or anything. I looked her over and she has no wounds that I can see. She’s just very sluggish, not wanting to move and her tail is down. I Just gave her a nutri drench as well
