I'm like 99% sure the one with green head is a drake and is a Cayuga breed.... But the other I'm not sure.... Pretty sure it is a female though cause the quacks are dramatically different! If they are different breeds and the make babies so to speak what can expect?

The female is not a cayuga, for she has orange feet.
Who is quacking? Are they both quacking?
The female could be a Black Swedish but I think they have white. she could also be a mutation.
The black gene is dominant so you can expect black ducklings.:)

The big one with greenish head (at least in the sun) is raspy sounding.... Not really a "quack" sound... The little one definately quacks like the traditional sound everyone thinks ducks sound like and she's LOUD when she does which isn't really a lot...

The female is very shy! And the drake is pretty bold! He actually likes playing with my chihuahua or at least my dog thinks that is what he is doing!!! They chase each other, yes the dog even wags her tail so I KNOW my dog is truly playing, Lol !

I did not notice that! Great observation.

Wow! Lucky you! You got a pair! :D
I honestly have no idea what this duck is though. Looks like a cayuga, but has orange feet. It doesn't seem upright like a Runner.
Do you have the ability to contact the breeder? It might be a mix!
