I have a male call duck who is trying to mate with my female runner duck who has gone broody. None of the eggs she has produced and sat on have been fertile. I think it is due to the size difference. The runner duck is too long for the call duck to grab her neck and also do the deed. Is there anything I can do to help?

No, the call duck drake is just to small!

Update: Turns out they can! We hatched 5 ducklings. One got attacked by a bobcat we think. The first picture is of one of the ducklings, Blooper. It's named that because it was born 5 days late from the rest. The second picture is of the very angry mama. And the last is the proud father.
