I have a Brinsea Mini Eco incubator and it’s been incubating some duck eggs for about 2 weeks now when all of a sudden this morning the temperature shot right down to 25 degrees Celsius? We really have no idea what to do or why it’s decided to do this? We’ve hatched quail eggs in this incubator before with no problems and now after 2 weeks of being used it’s not regulating the temperature? The temperature is reading at 25 degrees now and won’t rise. What do I do?

Brinsea has hotline that might able to help you, for the meantime add a 50 watt bulb nearby to up the temp, do you have another thermometer, In case it’s the digital reading that is wrong? Make sure to also monitor the humidity.

Hi, I’ve bought another incubator and we’re sending the malfunctioning one back so they can service it or something? I really hope this hasn’t damaged the embryos inside!!

Hopefully, I got a broody that’s couldn’t get back to her eggs/nest for a day, the eggs got colder than 80s, 3 just hatched yesterday 3 days past the due day hatch.
