However, I just wet down what I could about 30 minutes ago and it is already paper white. Drying out really quick.

Humidity is showing 63%.

elevate humidity to at least 70% if possible. I have lost so may at the last to a low humidity and a white membrane is a dead give away. I have been watching this from afar. good luck
