Hi. I have my second broody hen EVER. Brahma. Didn't know she was broody, don't know when she started sitting on these clutches (we were away. They appear to be large clutches) bur she is going between two clutches that are right next to eachother. What if anything should I do?
Thanks!

Combine the eggs after you candle them?

This should help you find your way around:

If you've got a rooster breeding hens, and you would like a few new pullets for winter eggs let her sit. Pick about 10 eggs for her to sit on, that's about how many can adequately be covered. MARK THEM. Then discard the rest. Check daily for any new additions and remove them. In 3 weeks, you should have a bunch of new babies.
If the eggs aren't fertile or you don't want any chicks, remove the eggs and break her broodiness by putting her in an elevated wire crate for a few days.
