HELP!! broody hen hurting foster chicks PLEASE HELP!

Both of the chickies are in the barn in an old stock tank with a lamp. The cochin is now back in with the flock. Just a thought, when will she start laying again?

This happened To me once, it could be that she has not brooded long enough for the motherly hormones to kick in. Is she inexperienced?
If she persists at hurting the chicks, I would hand raise them under a heat lamp in a rather spacious enclosure of a sort, until they are old enough to fend for themselves.
This is what I did when my broody hen refused to adopt them, they are all healthy and coped fine without a mum and learnt t sandbar he and all that by he selves. Good luck, don't give up unless you really have to, because It will always be better with an actual hen raising them. :)
