help broody hen question. and bantams

i need help.

if i give a broody hen a few chicks now (like 3) could i give her more in like a week or so?
can i give her like 3 week old chicks?
bantams, how do you sex and find out what breed they are, website?

if i give a broody hen a few chicks now (like 3) If newly hatched the hen would most likely accept them as her own. could i give her more in like a week or so? Risky. The hen may or may not accept the chicks.
can i give her like 3 week old chicks? This is not safe.The hen would know they are not hers and the chicks would know that the hen wasn't mom. Very likely that the hen would attack them.
bantams, how do you sex and find out what breed they are, website? Sexing bantams is the same as the larger breeds-comb/wattles, neck feathering, and tail.

It really depends on the hen. I know a couple of mine would accept week old chicks; I also know that some others would not.

If you try this have a backup plan in case the hen refuses them. Or they refuse her.
