Help Button quail blown up like a balloon !!!!!!

Hiya I have a week old Button quail and its chest and stomach have inflated literally like a balloon I can see straight through it

What could it be I've never seen anything like this before. It was fine yesterday

you are the second person to post this issue today. His/hers is a Coturnix but there's the same trouble. check their post see if it has helpful info for you...

Does it gave a pasty butt at all? What are you using for bedding?

I've popped it and it just deflated nicely a fast the little one didn't seem the slightest bit bothered it's head was also inflated and that needed to be popped separately but it seems fine now hopefully we won't have a relapse
