(I'm not sure if I can post this here but I'm not getting any responses in the duck section)

I have two call ducklings that I got last Monday. They both were fine up until today. The smallest one can't support herself on her legs. She just scoots herself across the floor to the food and water. Her legs seem to be working because she uses them to push herself but she can't stand up. She's alert and drinking. I haven't seen her eat yet. What could be wrong with her and what should I do?

You'll have to teach her to eat - she probably doesn't know how, especially if there are only two babies.

Be sure also to not feed them medicated food as ducklings will go through a lot more and overmedicate themselves.

Try wetting the crumbles with water to tempt her to eat and make it easier for her to swallow. I think she's out of "fuel".

She has been eating on her own. I got them from a breeder who had about 15 other ducklings with them. Her food is 24% non-medicated starter. She can move around but as opposed to walking, she just uses her feet to scoot around.
