Help! Can I cut feathers???

I trimmed Punky's "hair" just enough so I can see her eyes. She's still kind of goofy and can't get on the roost, we have to lift her up every night. She sure is cute. I'll try to find pics...

I used round tipped very sharp scissors and had my husband help me hold her and just took my time. I'd like to cut some of the feather above her eyes so she can see UP. lol

Oh I am so glad I came across this thread! Although I don't think my DH would let me trim our Polish crests but I want them to at least see comfortably if not for their own safety! Thanks for posting all the instructions and pics....totally helps (now only if I can persuade DH on this).

Bet you didn't know that "stink eye" was under there. Maybe because you just trimmed the crest or maybe she's been looking at you like that all along. Hmmmm...
