Help!! Can this egg be repaired???

I was candling my hens eggs and this ones due to hatch in a few days!! I noticed a missing piece on the top can I fix it??

I personally would just leave it as is...I hatched out my gal Daisy (half shell) from an egg that started out like that , she's now 8months old .

Ok thank you!! I still see something moving around in the egg but I was thinking of maybe placing a small band aid over the crack to help a bit

Some people use wax or clear tape , it's all about personal preference.

Yeah I read about that, and my folks said that as the egg is ready to hatch the chick is stretching and moving around.. so they said for me to leave the hole alone since it might be attempting to hatch I think I saw signs of pipping on the egg too so my due dates for the egg might’ve been miscalculated we’re gonna check the egg in a few hours later just to make sure.. fingers crossed

The folks were correct when they said it was hatching time!
I put the egg next to my ear and could hear peeping from it!! I think by morning the chick should be hatched
