Help! can you help me iidentify sex and breed - new to this!

There are Pekins in the states, I think they are what we call them bantam Cochins. I also assume Black Rocks are more common in the UK because they usually breed for Barred Rock cocks to be dark like the hens which creates many more black birds--I could be completely wrong about that though.

I still dont' know what a speckled lady is.

I know their are pekins, I just never saw black ones. I didn't think they were the same as bantam cochins. We were just discussing blue and black rocks about a week ago on the plymouth rock thread

Is a "Speckled Lady" a Speckled Sussex? Or some other breed?

Someone tried to tell me on another thread. They are in the UK. Something about marans is all I remember, maybe someone from the UK will chime in
