help. cant get humidity up incubator

I just cant seem to get the humidity up it is at 41%, i have water in the bottom like it said, temp is fine but humidity just wont go up. Any suggestions

I am assuming you are using a styrafoam still-air or homemade incubator... have you tried putting a couple of damp sponges or rolled up paper towels in there? Seems to work well as it always fogs up the plastic viewing window on my LG. Best to you!

thanx for the reply, i put the eggs in and the humidity already has gone up to 45%, i will do the sponge thing if i cant get it up more...
