Ok, so we are newish to chickens. Done lots of research on this and cant figure out what this is. My chickens are sneezing, some have gunky noses. Thats how it begins. Some are fine, if they get lethargic, they die. I thought infectious bronchitis. Treated with Duramycin. For approx 2 weeks. Then some began pooping blood( some peeps about 3 or 4 days after moving outside). Then that got into my brooder. So did Corid treatment. Lost a few peeps. Now that the Corid is over, we are back to the sneezing. ***Sigh*** In total we are down about 14, 3 were adult hens, the rest peeps of various ages. My brooder is currently on Corid, treating these week old chicks. The rest of them are on Duramycin, round 2. Anyone got any ideas? I keep 3 different pens and the brooder. Is it possible I diagnosed correctly and its just making the rounds pen to pen? This is getting out of hand! Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Does anyone have experience with Chlamydiosis???? I am beginning to think we have that here! NOT ONLY were the chickens sick, but my husband and kids too. My daughter ran a 104 degree fever 3 days ago, the highest she has Ever had, she is 4. They are all coughing, and have icky chest congestion. I thought it may have been just a virus? Think I am making Dr's appts in the am, cause this is some scary S**T!!!!
All these chicken disease/sickness info sheets/books are the same. NOT in everyday language. Impossible to interpret. If I cant diagnose, how on earth can I treat?!?! Is there no place where its easy to decide what is the problem?
