Help! Chick 2 days early with something not right

I came in this morning to mid day 19 to find that in the middle of the night a chick had hatched in one of our classrooms. I have never had one hatch this early and it has a bright red sac come from its hind end. The underside of it looks yellowish but am concerned that it could be more than just the yolk sac.

I have no idea what that is but it looks bad. The temp must have been too high for it to hatch 2 days early.
Be prepared- by the looks of it there is a high chance it won't make it, Poor little chick.

I don't think the temp is too hot. It is a Hova bator with a built in temp setting and I have thermometers inside and have done spot checks. None of other eggs have even pipped, which I would expect more universal activity on a hot bator.

That's odd. I'm not sure what could've caused it. I've never had that happen with my chicks before. Strange.
