HELP chick broken leg?

When I did it I used a cloth medical tape.
The one I have is for horses, it
sticks to itself without adhesive... It can stand better with the looser brace between legs so I have put that back on for now and put him back with his mum to reduce stress then I'll have to try again with tape.

I'm glad mother hen is completely fine with me handling the chicks ☺️ I have rewrapped again and it's better then my previous wrap job but I will need more practice to get it tight enough and at the right angle - the leg still goes backwards but not as bad. At least he can eat and drink on his own now and sort of hobble around.

Are the toes/foot curled under? If it is, then best tape it flat or they will stay that way and you'll have more issues to deal with.
Did you get any B-Complex to give to this chick?
They only had poultry vitamins available so he's having that. I think he was just in an awkward position at that time of the photo, no curled toes now.

So looks like Slipped Tendon / Chondrodystrophy hock disease. Although I give chick starter and poultry vitamin water it is supposedly a vitamin deficiency problem?
Will this chick survive this? Get better? Or always have this walking problem? - painful suffering walking or not? Better off to cull to end suffering or could he/she live a good life still?
