I hatched lemon cuckoo orpingtons, they hatched unusually early, day 19. The temp was 99.5 My first one that hatched, is always lying on his back. Naturally I flip him over and it seems like he has issues balancing for a period before turning over again. Its been about 3 days. Hes better then he was, I had him in a pot with a blanket when he was in my incubator to keep him upright but he kept getting out. Not sure if I should try any tricks?? Hes out of the incubator now. I have to constantly turn him over. Hes very active and not weak whatsoever. Has anyone else had this and fixed it?

Also I had one before that did this and after flipping her over for the first day, she snapped out of it. Not sure about what to do

I had a chick some time ago that did this. Her mom used to knock her over though and then we had to go pick her up and put her back on her feet. Otherwise she'd just lie there like a tortoise. She stopped doing it after awhile though.
Good luck with your baby!
