here are pics from just now, with a few different angles. I'm so worried about this little one!

Thanks Peeps! I'm REALLY worried, now! When I took the pic a couple hours ago, The chick was still moving in the egg. It has NOT moved now for over an hour. Anything I shoud do? It looks REALLY dry, and I'm afraid the heat lamp is too hot! Also, no more appearances from the one who pipped this morning! The heat lamp is hot, but I don't think it reaches 100 degrees. Plus, it is in an open box, so the heat can escape. I'm afraid i'm cooking these guys! HELP! @Pyxis , you are the expert here in hatching, what do you think about the heat?

ok folks, so I had to run into town to pick up kids from school. My oldest son stayed home, and kept an eye on the eggs. We have sports practice today, so I won't be home until about 830 tonight. He said that he thinks I'm cooking them! (he's 18). It's really hot under the lamp, and we were at 81 degrees this afternoon, so I turned the heating pad off. They are still in the open box with the heat lamp on them. I'm ordering a freakin incubator, even if I don't need one, just in case this happens again! Any advice on a good incubator? I've never owned one. I'm also pretty handy, so homemade ideas and advice are welcomed, too!
Do you have any kind of thermometer in there? If not I'd add one and see what it says.
I'd also try to oil the membrane - do you have coconut oil on hand to use? If not, perhaps bacitracin or neosporin?
I absolutely love and recommend the Harris Farms Nurture Right 360 for a small tabletop incubator. Never had any issues with mine, it's all digital, has a built in autoturner, and is all around really nice.
