Hello!
We have chick's that were sitting under a hen that are 3 days from its hatch date. When checking on the other eggs, one of them. Is very cracked with membrane underneath showing. We attempted to move the hen and eggs inside but she immediately tried to peck at this one. What can we do?

Welcome to BYC! Do you have an incubator? It's been my favorite experience that when eggs get crushed like this they will not survive unless it's put in an incubator. If you don't have an incubator, I think Tractor Supply sells a $50 Styrofoam one. You could also try making your own hatched using a heating pad and plastic bin.

This is a thread about the one I made.

and this person had an egg like your egg, though it was at day 20 of 21.
