HELP..chick out

another chick hatched but its hair was weird and slicked down..and there is what looks like a vein hooked to it but that connects to the egg? I took her from mommy and put her under a light with the shell and gave her sugar water..any other ideas??? THanks

i clipped the cord in a dry section where there was no blood. I fluffed her up and put her under mommy so far so good!!!

hatched the second chick also, they are both doing wonderful with mommy!!!
