Help chick stuck to membrane

Hello! I have only hatched eggs once, so I don't know too much. A chicken keeping friend of ours told us that if the membrane is stuck, and he can still breath, to not touch him. It can actually hurt him more if you try to remove the membrane.

I don't know if this is exactly right, someone more experienced than I will come along soon and give you better advice on what to do. Best wishes and keep us posted!
