Help! Chick was choking but now she's just crying with closed eyes????Advice???

Always use chick starter for the first couple of weeks and it should look like dust ....

Need plenty of fresh clean water and try some Probiotic in the water on all new chicks .....

If you have any egg's in the house boil up some and mash and feed to chicks and no shells
this is good stuff for them

Always be watchful of the little guys you are doing good

I'm not sure what the exact temp is but the chick died two hours ago. She became paralyzed and couldn't breathe well. Thanks for the advice anyways I think she had problems from something other than the choking. She was the runt and wouldn't grow.I just hope whatever was wrong with her isn't contagious. Rip Captain Cheep.

What is the temperature under their lamp?  How long has this been going on?  Have your older chickens had any "cold like" symptoms?
