HELP chick with hard poop

I put a bit of molasses in the water when mine had it

I had the same problem I found this page: https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/vent-gleet-aka-nasty-chicken-butt.64647/

My chicks are only 5 days old now, this is my second batch of chicks, i only have 2.
My guess is this started from the in side, this chick was weaker then the other and alot more vokal, at day 3 he startet to stand more instead of laying down for naptime I checked for pasty but, but could not see any. Day 4 when i check for pasty but again he was clogged, he's poo was like a big rock of dry food and sand and his but was swollen like hemorrhoids.

Solution:
1. Warm bath to clean the but.
2. If the but is swollen apply hemorrhoidcream.
3. If there is a larg rock poo in the but which the chick can't get out, remove it very gently with rounded CLEAN tool with lubricant like hemorrhoidcream to help reduce swelling.
4. If the chick still can't poo try the mixture of epson salt in water. For a grown chickens 1 teaspoon of epson salt to 1 ounce of water. My small chick drank about 10-12 slurps of this. And yogurt to help his tummy work properly. This took about 12 hours, he was weak and slow.
Then provide lots of water to prevent dehydration, add a little sugar for energy.
5. Wait about 6-8 hours, if he is strong he will poo and start eating again.

Solution description:
First i washed him in and epson bath and applied hemorrhoidcream for the swelling.
Then i waited to see if he could poo, but no matter how much he strained nothing came out. After a few hours of pain and straining i found af small rounded tool, disinfected it and with hemorrhoidcream i gently brok and removed the larg poo, but stille he could not poo.

I gave them yogurt which he nibbled at.
Then i found the web page and made some epson water for him, this gives chickens diarrhea. He did not want to drink when isolated. So i watch him and his sibling, i gave them there own drinking bowls and made sure his sibling did not drink from his bowl. For about 6 hours, then i gave him plain water that night, then 6 hours more until he had drunk 10-12 slurps. I did not want to risk waiting any more or overdosing so i switch to water with a littel sugar to counter the risk of dehydration.

Then after 6-8 hours he startet to poo, eat and become more alert.

Preventing: Give yogurt so the new chick tummys can get the needed bacterial to work. Especially when some are showing signs of being week from the beginning.
