Hi, we saw our new hen try to walk on ice the other days and she was very wobbly, with her legs spreading out from beneath her, as though she couldn't get a grip. Our other 6 chickens were fine walking on the ice. We took her in. Her toes are not curling inwards, but they are limp, like spaghetti, and bend in all directions. She can barely hang on to a roosting bar and is not walking around much. She is also not very interested in eating at the moment. She had a bit of a head tremor that came and went. Any idea what this is?
I'm considering Marek's or riboflavin deficiency. I don't have a great photo right now (but you can see the inner toes are bending in an odd direction) but will some later.
For context, she is from a flock of three we just got a week ago, added to our flock of 4. She is between 6 months - 1 year of age. I saw she was getting picked on a bit. Her legs appeared fine when she arrived.
