Hi, my baby chick hatched around 2 days ago so for the first 48 hours just to be safe but when we moved her to the brooder we noticed that her feathers weren't fluffing up and that some parts looked wet but were rock dry. Can anyone please help and tell me if this is normal or not, im worried that something happened while she was hatching (we did not open the incubator until we were sure that she could go into a brooder, shes also very active and stumbling around and it looks like her feet are too big for her)

On her head and back, it looks like there are little pieces of dried membrane. I had this happen to my chick as well when my humidity was a bit to low. Just search through her feathers to find the curling edge and you can peel it off.
Hopefully thats all it is. :fl
If theres no membrane, maybe try blow drying her to see if she fluffs up.
Is she the only one who hatched, or does she have siblings?

We will try that, and yes she has 4 other siblings, this little one decided to be early and started pipping on day 19

We're also worried about her belly, it looks a big enlarged which is completely scaring me and if you see closely she has 5 claws, is that normal?

Her belly will be fine. You could give it a spray with wound treatment if your worried about the red spot. And some breeds do have five toes on each foot. What breed is she??
