Help Chicken is down !!!!!!!!!!

I went to feed my chickens and found one of my lady's down on the groun. when I inspected her it looks like she has a egg stuck without being able to lay it. What do I do ? Can I do anything or should I just go and take her out of her missery ?

Try soaking her in a tub of warm water. It helps them to relax so that hopefully she will be able to pass the egg. Make sure her head doesnt go under water cause it relaxing them so much they will fall asleep.

Thanks for your help . I went to check on her and she is up and pecking. She is still swollen but seems to be fine. I will keep an eye on her and let you know.
